What is the publication frequency of Environment Conservation Journal?
Two issues/year: June and December
What is the Publication process?
We follow three steps process i.e Plagiarism check, Quality check and Reviewers comments only after passing these three stages decision is finalised.
Do authors have to pay the processing fee at the time of Submission of Manuscript?
No. there is no processing fee for submission of article, the authors have to pay the Article processing Charges only after acceptance of the manuscript.
How many days it will take from submission to acceptance?
It generally takes 8 to 10 weeks from submission to acceptance rest depends upon authors and reviewers response.
How long does it take to get the manuscript reviewed?
The review process totally depends upon authors response time and reviewers comments/response time. Generally it takes 4 to 6 weeks.
What is the Current NAAS rating of the Journal?
The current NAAS rating of the Journal is 5.66.
How can I submit my manuscript?
The author should submit their manuscript using the SUBMIT ONLINE button. Please DO NOT email your manuscripts. We do not accept manuscripts over the emails to make our workflow faster and more efficient.
I submitted my new manuscript online. What should I do now?
Our editorial team will do an initial assessment of the submitted manuscript i.e. Plagiarism check and Quality check for which corresponding author will receive a follow up email. After passing the above two stages the manuscript will be sent for review At all times, the progress of the manuscript can be tracked from the Submissions link.
How would I know if my manuscript has been sent for review?

My account/portal is showing one or more reviewers missed their deadlines what should I do now?
You do not need to take any action at this time. The editorial team has been notified and will take action to ensure reviews are completed. You will be notified when a decision has been made.
What happens after the review process?
After the manuscript is reviewed by the reviewer, all the comments and feedback is shared with the author. The author is requested to make the changes as per the suggestions and resubmit the revised manuscript using the Submissions link. Once the editorial team receives the manuscript, it is checked for corrections to make sure that the changes are as per the requested revisions. If all looks good, the manuscript is sent to the Editor-In-Chief who makes the final approval and sends the manuscript for publication. If the corrections are not as per the expectations, the manuscript is sent back to the author.
I have received an email from the editorial team with the comments and feedback of the reviewer. What’s next?
Please review all the suggestion/comments/feedback carefully and then address them in your manuscript using track changes in the document. Once you have addressed all the corrections, please save your file and submit it again through the Submissions link.
I am not able to upload revised manuscript can I submit it as a new submission?
NO, never submit the revised version of the manuscript as a new submission. Kindly click on message we sent to you scroll down you will find add message button click on it and submit the revised version.
I have submitted my revised manuscript through the online revised submission section. What should I expect now?
You will receive a confirmation from our editorial team. If there are any further revisions still required, we will reach out to you.
My manuscript has been accepted for publication. What should I do now and when will my manuscript be published?
Congratulations! You will be required to pay Article processing charges. Upon the receipt of Article processing charges your Manuscript will be sent for copyediting and will be published in an online first section of the Journal.
What are the Article processing charges?
Kindly follow the Payment and Subscription section of the website.
I received the invoice email. What should I do now?
Please pay this amount through the link given in your invoice or refer to the Payment and Subscription section of the website.
I have paid my Article processing charges. Will I get a confirmation of the payment?
Yes, you will get a confirmation of the receipt of payment within 24-48 hours. Sometimes it may take longer than that. Please feel free to reach out to us if you don’t get the confirmation within 7 days of the payment submission.

Who can become member?
Anyone can become an annual member or a life member of the Environment Conservation Journal. Please refer to the Membership page for further details.
Do all authors have to become a member?
No, membership is not compulsory for any author.
