Environment Conservation Journal aims to publish original research/ review papers/ Book reviews/ Reports on conferences/ seminars/ important events, news of interest/ information on forthcoming seminar/ books on the environment related aspects. It encourages submission of two categories of papers. The first category comprises scientific papers and second category comprises engineering papers. The study of environment is inherently multidisciplinary.
Authors are requested to download the Consent to Publish and Transfer of Copyright form from the Website. Please send a completed and signed form by mail to the Environment Conservation Journal Office. It supports submission of file formats, in MS Word 2007 or higher version and JPEG for figures.
PDF is not the recommended format.

Authors Guidelines
Submission, revisions and publication:
Manuscripts should be submitted online as a Microsoft Word file in a single column format on our website through the submission portal.
Once the manuscript is submitted online on our website, our editorial team will do an initial assessment (Plagiarism and Quality Check) of the submitted manuscript to ascertain its eligibility to be sent for review. After passing the plagiarism and quality check stage the manuscript will be sent for review, Authors are also encouraged to provide the names of three referees/reviewers along with the manuscript.
The authors are given reasonable time and opportunities to revise the paper to address the comments of the reviewers and editorial team. If the author is unable to revise the manuscript as requested, the manuscript will be rejected. Also, if the revisions are not received within the requested dates of the revision, the manuscript will not be processed further and the authors will be requested to submit the manuscript again and will be treated as a new submission for re-review. Any manuscript which has been dormant for more than a year due to any reason whatsoever will be deleted from our system.
After a thorough review and revision process, if the paper is accepted for publication then, Article Processing charges would be charged. Please refer to the Payments and Subscriptions section of our website for the current fee structure.
The decision of the Editor-in-Chief would be final for the acceptance of the manuscript for publication in the journal.
Manuscript Preparation
The manuscript should be in English in Times new roman (font size 12, space 1.5) with wide margins on high quality white paper. Subdivision of the paper into Abstract (Not more than 300 words), Introduction, Materials and Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements and References is recommended.
Page 1: of the manuscript should contain Short and informative Title of paper, Article type, Keywords for computer aided searching, Author(s) and Co-authors name(s), Affiliation(s), complete address for correspondence including electronic address (Email id), telephone and Fax number.
Page 2: of the manuscript should contain the Abstract (Not more than 300 words) and at least six keywords in alphabetical order.
Consecutive pages: of the manuscript should contain Introduction, Materials and Method, Results and Discussion, Acknowledgement, Conflict of Interest, funding if any, References.
Tables
All the tables/figures/histogram/photographs should be consecutively numbered with a brief caption below and should be placed at the end of the manuscript. The illustrations should be of good quality. Illustration should be designed to allow 50 % reduction. These should be numbered sequentially.
References
The list of references should only include works that are cited in the text and that have been published or accepted for publication.
Reference list entries should be alphabetized by the last names of the first author of each work.
Journal names and book titles should be italicized.
If available, please always include DOIs as full DOI links in your reference list (e.g. “https://doi.org/abc”).
Reference Citations in text
For single author
Cite last name every time the reference appears in the text. For example: (Khanna, 2018) or Khanna (2018)
For two authors
Cite both names every time the reference appears in the text. For example: (Khanna and Bhutiani, 2018) or Khanna and Bhutiani (2018)
For more than two authors
Cite the last name followed by et al. in italic. For example: (Khanna et al., 2018) or Khanna et al. (2018)
Citing authors with multiple works from one year
Cite the multiple works with a, b, c and so on. Assign these letters within the reference list also, which is sorted alphabetically by the surname of the first author. For example: (Khanna, 2017a,b,c) or Khanna, (2017a,b,c)
If these works are by the same author, cite the surname once followed by the years in chronological order. For example: (Bhutiani, 2007, 2013, 2017) or Bhutiani (2007, 2013, 2017)
No author
If there is a title of a book, periodical, brochure or report, it should be italicised. For example: (A guide to citation, 2017).
Citing a group or organisation
Cite the full name of the group. For example: (Food and Agriculture Organization, 2017) or Food and Agriculture Organization (2017)
Citing an entire website
When you refer to a website in your text without quoting or paraphrasing from a specific part of it, you do not need a formal citation. Use the same format as you use for print, with a URL added at the end. For example: www.environcj.in or (www.environcj.in )
For this kind of citation, you do not need to include the website in the list of Reference sections.
Citing a specific page of the entire website
If you are citing a specific page or article from a website, you will need a formal citation in the text and also in the reference list of the Reference section.
For example: (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2021) or Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (2021)
All references cited in the text should be listed at the end of the manuscript alphabetically in the following style:

Permissions
If you include figures that have already been published elsewhere, you must obtain permission from the copyright owner(s) for both the print and online format. Please be aware that some publishers do not grant electronic rights for free.
Animal Ethics and Informed Consent for Human Participants:
The author should ensure that appropriate permission are taken from the concerned Animal Ethics Committee for the conduct of the research using animals. The research involving human participants proper guidelines should be followed to protect their privacy and written consent should be taken informing the participants about the data to be used in the research.
Author contributions
The Publisher recommends authors to include contribution statements in the work that specifies the contribution of every author in order to promote transparency. These contributions should be listed at the separate title page.
Changes to authorship
Authors are strongly advised to ensure the correct author group, the Corresponding Author, and the order of authors at submission. Changes of authorship by adding or deleting authors, and/or changes in Corresponding Author, and/or changes in the sequence of authors are not accepted after acceptance of a manuscript.
Please note that author names will be published exactly as they appear on the accepted submission
Please make sure that the names of all authors are present and correctly spelled, and that addresses and affiliations are current.
Adding and/or deleting authors at revision stage are generally not permitted, but in some cases it may be warranted. Reasons for these changes in authorship should be explained. Approval of the change during revision is at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief.
If there is suspicion of misbehavior or alleged fraud the Journal and/or Publisher will carry out an investigation following COPE guidelines. If, after investigation, there are valid concerns, the author(s) concerned will be contacted under their given e-mail address and given an opportunity to address the issue.
Proofs
Galley proofs will be sent to the corresponding author by e-mail, your response, with or without corrections, should be sent within 72 hours. However, on non-receipt of the proof, the care would be taken by the publisher to get the papers corrected and published at the earliest possible.
