ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGES (APC) POLICY

Environment Conservation Journal (P ISSN: 0972-3099, E ISSN: 2278-5124) is the Official publication of Action for Sustainable Efficacious development and Awareness (ASEA).

1. Purpose

This policy defines the Article Processing Charges (APC) applicable to manuscripts submitted to Environment Conservation Journal and sets out the terms, conditions, and obligations governing such charges.

2. Authority and Applicability

This APC Policy is issued pursuant to the resolution approved in the Executive Committee Meeting of the Journal and shall be effective immediately.

This policy applies to all manuscripts submitted on or after the effective date 05.01.2026.

Submission of a manuscript to the Journal shall constitute full acceptance and agreement by the author(s) to comply with this policy.

3. Article Submission Fee

3.1 A mandatory submission fee shall be payable by authors

• Rs. 2,500/- (Authors within India)
• USD 50 (Authors outside India)

The author(s) shall remit the submission fee only upon receipt of the official payment link/invoice issued by the Journal. No payment shall be made in the absence of such a link/invoice.

Upon receipt and confirmation of the submission fee, the manuscript (MS) shall be formally taken up for editorial handling, quality check and peer review. Payment of the submission fee does not imply, ensure, or guarantee acceptance or publication of the manuscript.

For each subsequent manuscript submission, a separate submission fee shall be applicable, irrespective of the outcome of any previously submitted manuscript.

3.2 The submission fee is:

• Strictly non-refundable under all circumstances, including withdrawal, rejection, or administrative delay.
• Levied solely towards initial editorial screening and processing.
• Not linked to acceptance, publication, or peer-review outcome.

4. Article Acceptance Fee

4.1 Upon formal acceptance of the manuscript by the Journal, authors shall be required to pay the following acceptance charges:

• Rs. 10000/- (Authors within India)
• USD 300 (Authors outside India)

4.2 Acceptance charges shall:

• Be payable only after issuance of the official acceptance notification.
• Not be demanded or collected prior to acceptance.

5. Page Charges

5.1 The acceptance fee covers manuscripts up to 15 printed pages.

5.2 Manuscripts exceeding 15 printed pages shall attract additional mandatory charges as follows:

• Rs. 750/- per additional page (Within India)
• USD 20 per additional page (Outside India)

5.3 Additional page charges are non-negotiable and shall be calculated based on the final accepted version.

6. General Conditions

• All APC payments are final, binding, and non-refundable.
• Payment of APC does not influence editorial independence, peer-review decisions, or publication priority.
• The Journal reserves the unrestricted right to revise, amend, or withdraw this policy at any time without prior individual notice.
• In the event of any dispute, the matter shall be subject to the jurisdiction applicable to the Journal.
• Failure to comply with APC requirements may result in withholding of publication.

7. Acknowledgement

Authors are advised to read this APC Policy carefully before manuscript submission. Continued participation in the submission and review process shall be deemed as explicit consent to the terms of this policy.
